This option makes it easier to manage your fuel expenses—and add predictability to your lives.
With this new plan, your price of propane is fixed to not exceed a specific dollar amount—no matter what happens to the wholesale prices of propane that Fall River Propane pays. If prices go above the CAP price, you still only pay that same, fixed price. But, if prices decrease, you’ll pay the lower price!
Additionally, you’ll be enrolled in our Auto Delivery program, so there is no need to watch your gauges all season long, nor is there the necessity to call to order propane if you run low. Q: WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM START?
A: The program begins October 1, 2021 and runs through April 30, 2022.
Q: HOW DOES A PRICE CAP WORK?
A: A price CAP puts a “ceiling” on how much you will pay per gallon for your propane throughout the heating season. This also allows you to benefit if propane prices go down instead of up. If our current market rate is lower than your CAP price on the day you receive a delivery, you’ll pay the lower price. But you must act quickly. This is only available to the first 200 customers that enroll!
Q: WHAT IS THE CURRENT CAP PRICE?
A: You can call our office M-F, 8:00am to 4:30pm (MT) to get information on the current CAP pricing!
Q: WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO I HAVE?
A: With this program, you can make your payments by check, credit card or with Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) through your financial institution—all options as you normally would have.
Q: IS THERE AN ENROLLMENT FEE?
A: Yes—there is an annual, one-time sign up fee of $100 which will be added to your account balance.
Q: DO I HAVE TO CALL FOR MY DELIVERIES?
A: No need to call! This program includes Auto Delivery. With this FREE service, we use heating degree days and your previous fuel usage to determine when to make deliveries without the need for you to call-in.
Q: WILL YOU MONITOR MY TANK?
A: When you use Automatic Delivery, a wireless tank monitor makes it easy for us to know if your usage is up or down from your usual patterns. This tells us when you’re ready for your next propane delivery and keeps you from ever having to worry about running out.
